France Cells

Sometimes, being away from home and without conputer for a few days, can be positive and can reserve you surprises once you come back. Like the email I found a few hours ago that probably represent the first spontaneous BYM cells outside italian boundaries.

French guys Fabian and Miles, sent us an email with a couple of pictures (above) and a short note in english:

BYM in Rome

Guests at Red's house and excited by the action in Milan, last weekend we all moved to rome for a week end full of Cacio and Pepe pasta, BYM propaganda and advertising treatment.


As usual we stated with some propaganda activities around the city hitting some sensible areas like schools, university and meeting points.



Then we dedicated half a day and a night to "treat" some billboard around the city. Below some pics




Great Weekend, great job, now we'll start thinking about next action...

Ieri sera, dopo mille peripezie siamo riusciti finalmente a caricare il video di quanto abbiamo combinato.

Lo vedete qui sopra.

Non è boicottaggio dei brand, non è una action tesa alla deturpazione di monumenti o beni pubblici.

Siamo contro un certo tipo di messaggio pubblicitario e mediatico.

Non ci piace sentirci dire cosa dobbiamo essere o come dobbiamo apparire, vorremmo solo che quei signori che pensano alle pubblicità e alla comunicazione pensino a noi come delle persone con un cervello: in grado di scegliere cosa vogliamo essere e di apparire come vogliamo.

Abbiamo utilizzato la loro stessa forma di comunicazione per mandare loro un messaggio che possano capire: beyourself è il nostro url(o) e se ci credete anche voi aiutateci a diffonderlo.

Affissioni anche in autostrada!

Come se le immagini deprimenti ed i messaggi offensivi non bastassero nel nostro paese, pare vada anche molto di moda l'affissione abusiva lungo le autostrade. Che per altro è illegale, ma a quanto pare, fatta la legge trovato l'inganno.

Se nm'era occuoato il corriere qualche settimana fa, e se ne sono occupate anche le iene l'altra sera.
