We are Back! :D

First of all, we are not gone, we are not dead and we did not fly away.

It has been a period full of stuff and things to do for everyone: we've travelled a lot and disconnect from the web, ( thing usefull sometimes also for the health).

Leaving aside recent adventures at home, Red and me have made the Way of St.James, not just for a particular religious devotion but as a human experience (most of all none of us hasn't ever find someone else who would do it). Then I flew to Berlin for a few weeks to work, followed by a return at home quite complicated (would be enought for you to know that in this moment I'm writing, stumbling Internet at friends'homes using a laptop borrowed from my sister): I mean, not exactly a summer full of beers on the beach, but very positive.

In any case, our city / virtual underground has moved on its own and looking trought through the pages I counted over 600 artworks! Some kick asses! And from all over the World!

We have to ask forgiveness to who was expecting for billboard activities or to who wrote us this summer: yes we admit it, we have not checked the email accounts but we have some surprise from Bologna, which has remained too long on the hard disk.

Excuses that are especially for the kids from StiCkMyWorld, that asked us to participate in the exhibition 20Keith Roma, that we have shamefully lost on the road during these almost three months on the run.

Seeing the video of the opening, embedded below, seems very nice and we strongly suggest at who is in Rome to make a round overthere until 3rd of October (Galleria Espositiva “Ex Roma Club Monti” in Via Baccina at nro 66 in Rome.)

Siamo tornati :)

Anzitutto, no, non siamo spariti, non siamo morti ne siamo scappati in sud america.

E' stato un periodo intenso per tutti, di viaggi e scollegamento dal web, cosa che peraltro ogni tanto giova alla salute.

Tralasciando recenti avventure domestiche, io e la Red abbiamo fatto il cammino di Santiago, non tanto per particolare devozione religiosa ma come esperienza umana (ma soprattutto perchè, nessuno dei due aveva mai trovato qualcun altro che lo volesse fare). Poi qualche settimana in terra berlinese per lavorare seguita da un ritorno a casa abbastanza complicato. ( (vi basti sapere che sto scrivendo scroccando internet a casa di amici usando un portatile in prestito da mia sorella ) Insomma non proprio un'estate da birrette e spiaggia ma comunque molto costruttiva.

In ogni caso, la nostra città/metro virtuale è andata avanti da sola e scorrendo le pagine degli atrwork ne ho contati oltre 600! Alcuni sono da paura.

Da chi si aspettava qualche incursione estiva e da chi ci ha scritto mentre eravamo via
dobbiamo sicuramente farci perdonare : sì lo ammettiamo non abbiamo controllato gli account di posta però abbiamo qualche sorpresa da Bologna, rimasta sull'hard disk troppo a lungo.

Scuse che vanno in particolar modo ai ragazzi di StiCkMyWorld, che ci avevano invitato partecipare alla mostra 20Keith a Roma dedicata a Keith Haring, che abbiamo ignobilmente erso per strada durante questi quasi 3 mesi di latitanza.

Vedendo il video del vernissage, embeddato qui sotto, pare sia molto carina e chi fosse dalle parti di Roma può farci un giro fino al 3 ottobre presso la Galleria Espositiva “Ex Roma Club Monti” in Via Baccina al nro 66 a Roma.

Today is the day!!!

As we had anticipated a few days ago, we have been contacted by several brands proposing us different kinds of collaborations.

Among all, only one seemed to perfectly fit for us.

This brand, as you probably saw in the home page site is Emily The Strange, a streetwear brand that I imagine you know, the one with the girl with the headband.

What offered us?

To continue doing what we were doing (this is the reason why we like it) but online and make it available to everyone: each of you will have the option, entering and browsing the city, to do its artwork and to publish it in the sites (see the list under the city) where Emily has paid, for us, the media spaces.

The city seems pretty cool, with lots of details and characters: there's also the subway!

Once you missed a bit 'to see what people is doing, you can choose a billboard and customize it as you want: you can also upload photos and within the palette there are also all our symbols, our ammo.

If you do not like something that you have done, drag it out of the artwork and that item will be trashed.

After you have saved and published your artwork, you'll see it in the city, in the gallery below and around the sites, you can also save the image with your artwork set in the city and share it (on FB) as a postcard.

For us it's cool: funny, democratic and powerful at same time, we hope you like it too. If you have something to say, this might be the right time :)

Today is the DAY!

Come vi avevamo anticipato qualche giorno fa, ci hanno contattato in diversi per proporci le collaborazioni più disparate.

Tra tutte, una ci è sembrata da subito prefetta per noi.

Il marchio come avrete visto dalla homepage del sito è Emily The Strange, un marchio di abbigliamento streetwear che immagino conosciate, quello con la tipa col caschetto, un po' dark.

Cosa ci ha proposto?

Di continuare a fare quello che stavamo facendo (ed è il motivo per cui questa proposta ci è piaciuta) ma online e di renderlo alla portata di tutti: ognuno di voi avrà la possibilità entrando nella città e navigandola di realizzare la propria affissione e di renderla pubblica sul circuito di siti ( vedete l'elenco sotto la città) in cui hanno acquistato per noi spazi banner.

La città ci sembra una figata, con un sacco di particolari e con tanto di metro!

Dopo che vi siete persi un po' a guardare cosa fa la gente che si muove, nei diversi scenari, potete scegliere un'affissione e disegnarla: potete anche caricare delle foto e dentro alla palette ci sono anche tutti i nostri simboli, le nostre munizioni.

Se qualcosa nella vostra affissione non vi piace, trascinatelo fuori dell'affissione e quell'elemento verrà cestinato.

Dopo che lo avete salvato e quindi pubblicato, oltre a vedere il vostro banner nella città, nella gallery sottostante ed in giro sui siti, potete salvarvi l'immagine ambientata del vostro artwork e condividerla anche su FB come cartolina.

Insomma, a noi sembra una figata: divertente, democratico e potente allo stesso tempo, speriamo piaccia anche a voi. Se avete qualcosa da dire, questa potrebbe essere una buona occasione :)
